Trauma/PTSD
Something in your life happened. It was not good. In fact, it was pretty scary. Maybe you have an abusive partner, experienced an extreme weather event such as hurricane, tornado or a fire. Maybe you have been assaulted, or grew up in a dysfunctional family. All of these things can cause trauma symptoms.

Symptoms of trauma (one big negative event, a series of negative events, or prolonged stressful environments) can cause Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which can show up as physical, cognitive, and emotional distress. These symptoms may include:
- body aches and pains
- difficulty sleeping or nightmares
- panic/anxiety
- lethargy
- heightened startle response
- confusion
- difficulty concentrating
- fear
- avoidance
- nightmares and more…
